If you control 75% of the influence points in the galaxy, you will gain influence victory.

Limitations and loopholes[]
- On large maps you will build numerous influence star bases, and the costs of building new ones will be climbing up, unless you max out logistics and disband ones you don't need any more.
- On lower difficulty levels the AI will not resist influence starbases, making the strategy less challenging to play. On higher AI levels, starbases will be perceived as a threat and may lead to an attack.
