The Paulos are a pretty spiteful bunch. For the last 7,000 years, their scientists have been struggling to complete their own form of Hyperdrive technology. Then, in a mere 50 years, the Humans swoop in and steal their glory. And seriously, they were like 6 months away from finishing. Our civil researchers have concluded that it officially "sucks to be them".
